Once again we'd like to say "Thank you" to the community of Shell Lake for sharing the Gazebo and other facilities with the attendees of the 7th annual Shell Lake "Carve-In" on August 14, 15, and 16, 2009. A special thanks to Bud Dicus for firing up the clay oven on Saturday and to the members of the Partners in Worship Women's Auxiliary for baking and selling the cinnamon buns. They were delicious! We really appreciate your taking time for us!
Thanks to Bud Dicus for being available to let us into the storage shed to get the tables and for making sure we had everything we needed.
Thank you to those providing accommodations in Shell Lake and the surrounding area, and to the Lakeland Diner for managing to keep us all fed.
We had 26 carvers participate again this year. They came from Sherwood Park, and Kitscoty, AB; Lac Du Bonnet, MB; and various points all over Saskatchewan.
We'd also like to thank all the visitors who took the time to come and browse through the Gazebo to see what we were doing.
