Fishing in the area

Big Shell Lake Campground
- Located on the north end of Big Shell Lake. 10 sites/no hookups. Water available by hand pump. Outdoor toilets, barbeque stands, and firewood. For more information contact 306-427-4613.
Emerald Lake Regional Park
- 56 electric sites, 13 n/elec. Golfing, aquatic program, firewood, groceries/supplies, ice, pets allowed, picnic tables, shower house, telephone.

Bronco Joe's Trail Riding 427-4912
- Trail rides through the Shell River Hills. 2 hours, 4 hours, or overnight. For
the adventurous spirit.

- Homestead cabins and rustic meeting and dining lodge on Lake Savard,
just north of Shell Lake. Open year round for meetings, conventions, and
get-a-ways.

- Trail ride to scenic lake site. Picnic lunches available. Located 2 miles east of Shell Lake on Hwy 3. By appointment.

- Miniature golf, soft ice cream, sundaes, slush puppies. Call for

Ski Timber Ridge 469-4545; Fax: 469-2425
- Located 5 km south of Big River off Hwy 55. 6 downhill ski runs,
chalet, concession, rentals, ski and snowboard instruction. Season: December 1
