Once again, we had a very successful season of curling and we hope everyone enjoyed curling. The Curling Club Board would like to extend their gratitude to Greg Ardagh and Larry Rush for taking time to attend the Ice Technician's Course in Saskatoon. They have spent countless volunteer hours working on the ice. We would like to remind all curlers that the ice makers have volunteered their time and they are trying their best to provide a good ice surface. Sometimes there are circumstances beyond their control that do happen and they do their best to fix it. We know that they will be able to do more experimenting next year. Special thanks goes to: Lynne Schutte and her crew of volunteers for organizing the kitchen and supper at the Open Bonspiel; Donna Strate for organizing the kitchen at the Ladie's Bonspiel; Noreen Reed for organizing the supper at the Ladies; the Credit Union ladies for gathering donations for prizes and the raffle table; Judy Mayo and Michelle Francoeur for providing the entertainment at the Ladies; David Jensen for looking after the ice for the Seniors; to Cheryl and Brad Ledding,Pine Ridge Cottages, for the water used for pebbling the ice.
