Happy Canada Day everyone!
We needed the rain, the rain came, and I think we probably all agree that we now have had enough rain! In light of this, we figured it would be fitting to share some "fun" facts about rain.
Did you know July's flower is the water lily?
Raindrops can fall at speeds of 22 miles/hour and can range in size
from 0.02" - .031" in diameter
One inch of rainfall over an acre of land weighs 226,000 pounds. In 1952
74 inches of rain fell in a 24 hour period on the Indian Ocean island
of Reunion.
