Shell Lake's Gazebo

Finished gazebo (10546 bytes)

During the summer of 1999, volunteers in Shell Lake built a gazebo on the museum grounds to be used for craft demonstrations and entertainment. So far it has been used by the Blacksmith Guild, Woodturning Guild and Prairie Sculptors Association. We are now taking bookings for the summer of 2003.

The gazebo is located on the museum grounds adjacent to Memorial Lake Regional Park golf course and campgrounds. This is a beautiful setting in the Parklands which attracts hundreds of tourists.

The 6-sided gazebo has a roof span of 46 feet and has 220 and 110 electrical supply. Public washrooms are located on the grounds. This is an ideal site for groups to hold symposiums or demonstrations.

Non-profit groups can book the gazebo for a public event at no charge. We ask that you make a donation to the Shell Lake Museum.

This is a great place to come with your family, demonstrate your craft, and sell your art. To book a weekend, call Galen Kennel at 306-427-4407 or
