The hall was packed to capacity on November 21st when Partners in Worship Women's Auxiliary held their Fall Auction. Auctioneers David Jensen and Gary Taylor elicited aggressive bidding from a very enthusiastic crowd. Top bids were received for everything from pies to hand made crafts. PWWA would like to extend a sincere thank you to all those who donated items, to those who purchased items and to those who just came out for the entertainment. It was a great success!

Anne and I would like to thank the Shell Lake & District Lions Club, Partners in Worship and the residents of the surrounding Shell Lake community for the wonderful words, presentations and effort put into the come and go tea Sunday Nov. 16th at the Shell Lake Lions hall. When we came to the community, we knew very few, now as we leave, we have been blessed with so many good friends and memories, way too many to acknowledge in this small space. As I have said many times, Shell Lake has been more home to us than anywhere else, we will miss you all, but you will not be forgotten. Thank you all so much for the wonderful day. As it was at the lake, you will all be welcome at our new home in Dalmeny, come and see us, please keep in touch. Just a phone call, 254-2703 with a familiar voice if you can't visit.
