Village of Shell Lake Mayor Update

Season's Greetings to all and a wish that you and your family have a safe and peaceful holiday.

December also brings financial year-end for the village. Village operations rely largely on the municipal portion of the taxes collected; please insure that your taxes are paid for the year including the sewer and garbage fees. Village Office will be open Monday, December 31st for your payment convenience, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The new sewage lagoon is complete and is in operation; in order to keep the maintenance and repair costs low, we are asking each household to be diligent in the practice of not flushing hygiene products into your septic tank.

Village Office will be closed from January 01 to January 21, 2008. Regular office hours will resume thereafter as follows: Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Office phone number is 427-2272.

Good luck to everyone that has purchased a ticket on the Memorial Lake Regional Park & Community Lotto.

Mayor, Paula Stalwick
